FRANKLIN C. SIMPSON
Franklin C. Simpson, Jr., age 87, of Bay Point, FL passed away at a local hospital on Thursday May 2, 2007. He was born in Atlanta, GA but spent the majority of his adult life in Birmingham, AL until moving to Bay Point in 1989. Mr. Simpson served in the United States Army during World War II and was employed by Texaco in Atlanta, GA and Birmingham, AL until his retirement. He was member of Woodlawn United Methodist Church in Panama City Beach. He is survived by his wife Ruth Simpson; son, Steve Simpson; brother, Jack Simpson (Sarah) and sister, Betty Parlier. A memorial service will be held at Elmwood Cemetery in Birmingham, AL on Monday, May 7, 2007 at 11:00 AM.
