Frank Locascio
Frank Locascio passed away peacefully at home, on Saturday October 18, 2008. He leaves behind 2 sisters, Jenny Kennington & Margaret Fowler; brother, Joseph Locascio; 2 sons Douglas & Randy; daughter Donna; 1 grandson & 2 great-granddaughters, as well as his dance partner & dear friend Eloise & her gracious family and many friends. His full life of 85 years started in Mt. Kisco, NY to Italian immigrant parents living on their vegetable farm. He served with the 388th Military Police Escort Guard Co., from 1943-1946. In his life as a union carpenter, he designed, built and/or remodeled his 6 homes before retiring to Panama City Beach. The last house he built about 25 years ago with his innovative design and construction abilities he was especially proud of. It was the most efficient passive solar house for its time and was featured in the March 22nd 1981 New York Times. His most favorite past times were ballroom dancing, golfing, purple martin bird hosting and dabbling with a few art projects. He will be remembered as a sweet gentle loving man with pale blue eyes who had great, wavy, brown hair (though since grayed) who lived simply, yet with elegance. We bid you good-bye for now & release you to the arms of our Lord & Savior Christ Jesus.
His ashes will be placed in Mt Kisco, NY at a later date. By his choice there will be no services held in FL. In lieu of flowers please send donations "In memory of Frank Locascio" checks to: "National Wild Bird Refuge"
Send to: Carlyle Rogillo PO Box 7066 Metairie, LA 701 00

There will be an open house at his home on Thursday, October 23 from 3pm to 6:30pm; his daughter Donna providing cake & punch with the request for anyone who would like to remember and celebrate Frank's friendship & life to stop by, as she closes the chapter of this gracious man's life.
