Obituary

Frank Kirk, 89, passed peacefully to be with the Lord on June 10, 2015. Frank Kirk was the original director and founder of the Panama City Rescue Mission in
1972 at the original location in the old Bay Hotel building on Beach Drive. He devoted the majority of his life helping the less fortunate and the homeless.
He served as a true minister unto the Lord and helped lead many souls to Jesus Christ for salvation. He was a member of Central Baptist Church for many years.Frank was also a devoted husband, father, and grandfather and served in the US Navy in
World War II. He is predeceased by his wife of 63 years, Berta Ann Kirk. His survivors include daughter, Brenda Kirk Reagan, and husband, Michael Reagan; his granddaughters, Michelle Reagan Bishop , and husband, Chris Bishop, Jennifer Elise Reagan, two great-granddaughters, Lily and Laura Bishop of Panama City Beach.
He is also survived by two brothers, Bob Kirk of Washington, DC and Thomas Kirk and wife Ruth, of Charleston, WVA and numerous nieces and nephews. Frank's family wishes to thank the caring and loving staff at Clifford Sims Veterans Home, Glencove and Lisenby Retirement Home for the excellent care he received there.
All who have known Frank are welcomed at Wilson Funeral Home on Monday, June 15 with visitation at 9:30 AM with funeral services immediately following at 10 AM. Burial with military honors will follow Tuesday, June 16 at 1:15 pm at Barrancas National Cemetery, Pensacola, FL. Those desiring to may make a donation to the Panama City Rescue Mission in memory of Frank Kirk.
