Frank Ernest Bobe Jr.,77, of Panama City, FL passed away on January 20, 2020. He was born on January 10, 1943 in Cambridge, Massachusetts and had been a resident of Panama City since 1949. Graduating from Bay High School in 1961 he entered the Army National Guard. In 1970 he graduated from Florida State University. He was an active member of the FSU Alumni Association and Booster Club. He started his career at PM&S, and was a Reserve Deputy Sheriff; he retired in 2009 as a District Credit Manager at Stock Building Supply. He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank Ernest & Beulah Blake Bobe Sr. and brother in law, Darrell Barron. He is survived by his wife, Alice Sammons Bobe; son, Frank Ernest Bobe III (Amanda); two grandchildren, Frank Ernest Bobe IV, Elizabeth Bobe; sister Elizabeth Bobe Barron; two nieces, Susan Stowe (Steve) and Jill Dugger (Justin). Graveside services will be held on Friday at 2 p.m. in the Greenwood Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family request that memorial donations be made to the American Heart Association.
