Mary Frances "Fran" Burnham Edwards, 88, of Panama City, passed away on Wednesday, November 17, 2021. She was born October 1, 1933 and was the youngest of twelve children. She resided in Cottonwood, Alabama until her marriage in 1952. She then lived in St. Louis, Missouri until her husband's retirement. Fran was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. Wherever she lived, she served the Lord whether it was being a Sunday School teacher, play director, banquet coordinator or decorator for church functions. Fran was an extremely talented and creative person. She loved helping others and was a friend to all. Fran was preceded in death by her wonderful parents, Cora & William Burnham, and her eleven brothers and sisters, Lois, Jack, Addie Mae, Dora, Thomas, Archie, Lionel, Sybil, Charlie, Gwen and Marion. She is survived by her husband of 69 years, Cecil; her son, Steve; two daughters, Barb Jaynes (Lonnie), Judy Railey (Ray) and four grandchildren, Leah, Zac, Tom and Jeff. Funeral services will be held on Monday, November 22, 2021 at 11 a.m. in the Wilson Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday from 10-11 a.m. prior to the service. Graveside services will be held on Monday at 2:30 in the Cottonwood Cemetery. Those desiring may make memorial donations to St. Jude's Children's Hospital in memory of Fran Edwards.
