Frances Colleen Dickens, 94, of Panama City, FL passed away on Tuesday, April 12, 2022. She was born on October 28, 1927 in Panama City, FL. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Panama City. She worked as a church secretary for several churches in Panama City and later became an English teacher at Bay High School. Frances was known for being an excellent seamstress, for always doing a kind deed, and being an outstanding homemaker. She was preceded in death by her parents, Cary Franklin & Lula Mae Wilson and one brother, Cary Franklin Wilson, Jr. She is survived by her husband, William D. Dickens, Jr.; three children, David Dickens (Teresa), Jennifer Dickens Melvin (Paul), Cary Wilson Dickens; four grandchildren, Jason Melvin, Kevin Melvin, Michael Dickens, and Brian Dickens; three great grandchildren, Kiley, Katelynn, and Ashton. A graveside service will be held on Friday, April 15, 2022 at 2 pm in the Greenwood Cemetery with Rev. Greg Rhinehart officiating. The family will receive friends  from 1-2 pm prior to the service on Friday at Wilson Funeral Home.
