Ferman William "Bill" Bedford, 91, of Panama City, passed away on Wednesday, July 28, 2021 in his home.  He was born June 11, 1930 in Cedartown, Georgia.  He served in the United States Army for 26 years and was a Vietnam Veteran.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Esmer and Mabel Bedford and a brother and sister.  He enjoyed traveling in his motorhome.  He is survived by his wife, Emma Bedford; two stepsons, Doug Schaffer, David Holmes; two granddaughters, Jacqueline Wilson  and grandson Joshua Wilson, Jamie Updegraff; six great granddaughters, Rhiannon Holmes, Emma Evans, Bailey Wilson, Erin Wilson, Rowan Wilson, Abby Updegraff and a great great granddaughter, Piper Baker.  Funeral services will be held on Saturday, July 31, 2021 at 11 a.m. in the Wilson Funeral Home Chapel.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday from 10-11 a.m. prior to the service.
