Obituary

Fay (Jack) Howell, 80 years old, born January 6, 1937, went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Tuesday, June 27 th .  He was born in Coffee Springs, Alabama, but lived the majority of his life in Panama City, Florida.  He married Jean Taylor, with whom he enjoyed a love filled marriage of 60 years.  He was preceded by his parents, Clayton and Addie Pearl (Roberts) Howell, and his brothers Gerry and Kenny Howell.  He is survived by his wife, Jean, son Jackie (Debra), daughter Debra, grandsons Alan (Victoria) and Matthew (Amber), granddaughters Micaela (Matthew) and Chasity (Martin Milton), great grandchildren Jordan, Madelyn, and LaKrissa, siblings Jill, Joan, and Danny, and in-laws Marie, Beau, and Robbie.

Jack made his living serving the community.  He was an active member of his church, Springfield Community, where he served as a youth leader, Sunday School teacher, and deacon.  He was a true Jack-of-all-trades.  Besides owning his own businesses, he enjoyed his hobbies, which included fishing, gardening, cooking, and grilling.  The only thing that he enjoyed more was spending time with his family.

A private graveside service will be held July 7, 2017 at Evergreen Memorial Gardens at 1pm for family and close friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Charles Dennis Ministries at 409 Newcombe Ave., Donaldsonville, GA 39845.
