EVELYN WILKERSON

Evelyn Wilkerson, 75, of Panama City Beach, died Sunday, September 2, 2007. She was born December 1, 1931 in Houston County, Alabama to Levi & Bessie Evans. She had been a resident of Panama City Beach since 1994, moving here from Enterprise, AL. She was a member of the Bethel Community Holiness Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, and 3 brothers, James "Jack" Evans, Rev. Emory Evans, and Louie D. "Shorty" Evans. She is survived by her husband, Winston Wilkerson, daughter, Shelia Rudd and husband, Ronald, grandson, Richard W. Rudd, all of Panama City Beach, brother, Tom Evans and wife, Benita of Albany, GA; 4 sisters-in-law, Maggie Evans of Dothan, AL, Betty Evans, Lil Evans Ward, both of Enterprise, AL., Mary Jo Ward of Tallahassee, FL; brother-in-law, Neil Wilkerson of Tallahassee, and numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Thursday at 4 p.m. in the Bethel Community Holiness Church, 1913 Cauley Avenue, Panama City Beach, with Rev. David Price and Rev. Roy Evans officiating. The family will receive friends from 3-4 p.m. Thursday at the church prior to the service. Graveside services will be held Friday at 11 a.m. in the Meadowlawn Cemetery, Enterprise, AL.
