EVELYN DAVIS ROBERTS
Evelyn Davis Roberts, 87, of Parker, passed away Thursday, February 12, 2009 in a local nursing home. She was a homemaker and had been a resident here all her life. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Parker. She was preceded in death by her husband, Roy Leon Roberts, two sisters, Florence Stetson and Marjorie Pollock and a brother, Alton "Bud" Davis. She is survived by her daughter, Sherrie Pitts and husband Tommie, of Parker, granddaughter, Jenise Pitts DeVoe and husband Brad of Elkridge, Maryland and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Sunday at 3 p.m. in the Wilson Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in the Parker Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday from 2 to 3 p.m. prior to the service. Those desiring to may make memorial contributions to First Baptist Church of Parker, Hiland Park Baptist Church, Covenant Hospice or the charity of your choice in memory of Evelyn Roberts.
