EUGENE WESLEY COOPER

Wes Cooper, 93, of Panama City, FL, went to be with the Lord on Monday, March 24, 2008. Wes was born in Passaic, New Jersey on February 25, 1915 and resided in the Albany area until 2005 when he moved to Florida to join his sons, Gary and John. He was married to Marjorie Finkle for 47 years until her death in 1983. He is predeceased by wife, Marjorie, son, Fredrick and daughter, Judy Comstock. Wes is survived by his daughter, Linda Wheeler, of Clifton Park, NY, and three sons, John and Gary Cooper, who live in the Panama City, FL area and Walter Cooper of Osprey, FL. He is also survived by several grandchildren and great grandchildren. Wes delivered milk by horse and wagon in the '40s, loved playing golf, hunting, flying a plane out of East Greenbush Airport and visiting Amish country in Pennsylvania. A memorial service will be held on March 31, 2008 at the Hospice Chapel of Port Orange, FL at 11 a.m. This will be a service for Wes and his son, Fredrick, who passed away on February 29, 2008.
