ESTHER ELLEN GRUBBS CAMPBELL

Esther Ellen Grubbs Campbell, 94, of Panama City, Florida died May 22, 2008 at a local nursing home.

Mrs. Campbell had been a resident of Panama City for 33 years, moving here from Memphis, Tennessee in 1975. She was a member of Forest Park United Methodist Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Jesse Dethanial Campbell. She is survived by her son, Dr. James D. Campbell and wife Sue of Panama City, two grandchildren, Shanna Campbell of Lynn Haven, Florida and David Campbell of Navarre, Florida, and two great- grandchildren, Campbell Swatts and Camryn Swatts of Lynn Haven, Florida and an "adopted" great -granddaughter Abby Swatts of Panama City, Florida. The family would like to send a special thank you to her special caregivers Lisa and Nancy and Covenant Hospice.

Visitation will be held Sunday, May 25 from 5 - 7 p.m. at Forest Hill Funeral Home - Midtown, Memphis, Tennessee. Graveside services will be held Monday, May 26 at 1 p.m. in Forest Hill Cemetery with Rev. Hal Sessons officiating.
