ESTHER FAYE BROOKS
Esther Faye Brooks, age 101, of Panama City, FL, died Sunday, August 17, 2008 in her home. She was born July 1, 1907 in Covington County, Alabama. She was preceded in death by her husband, William Arthur Brooks and six sisters. She is survived by her five children, Willa Dean Siegel and husband Jim, of Spring Hill, FL, Dwayne Brooks and wife Robbie, of Panama City, FL, Kyle Brooks and wife Myrt, of Wewahitchka, FL, Ronnie Brooks, Donnie Brooks, both of Panama City, FL, nine grandchildren, eighteen great grandchildren, four great great grandchildren, brother, E.L. Kirkland, Jr., two sisters, Ossie Mae Heaton, Ollie Carlton and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday at 9:30 a.m. in the Wilson Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday from 6 – 8 p.m. Graveside services will be held at 3 p.m. Wednesday at the Cedar Grove Church of Christ in Andalusia, AL. The family will receive friends from 2:30 – 3:00 p.m. prior to the service. Interment will follow at Cedar Grove Cemetery in Andalusia, AL. Active pallbearers will be Brandon Uhler, Randy Mueller, Kenneth Brooks, Jason Ammons, Hays Brooks and Stephen Brooks.
