ERNEST HOWARD KENT
Ernest Howard Kent, 89, of Panama City, passed away Tuesday, May 18, 2010. He was born January 14, 1921 in Orange Hill, Florida. He was preceded in death by his brother, Chris Kent and two sisters, Lois Gartner and Nadine York. He is survived by his wife, Jean Kent; five children, Larry Kent, of Apalachicola, Charles Kent and Carla, Kim Mitchell and John, Jo Taylor, Benny Moore and Laura, all of Panama City; 11 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; and two sisters-in-law, Betty Kent and Ann Lynn and Buck. Funeral services will be held on Friday at 1 p.m. in the Wilson Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. John Friedman officiating. Interment will follow in Greenwood Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday from 6 – 8 p.m. Those desiring may make memorial donations to the Forest Park United Methodist Church Building Fund, 1401 W 23rd Street, Panama City, FL 32405 or to Covenant Hospice, 107 W 19th Street, Panama City, FL 32405 in memory of Ernest Kent.
