Ernest Wayne Harrison, 88, of Panama City, FL passed away on Tuesday, January 6, 2026. He was born on September 15, 1937 in Searcy, AR to Walter and Vera Harrison. He served in the United States Air Force for 23 years retiring at the rank of Senior Master Sergeant. He was an avid fisherman. Ernest is survived by his wife, Sue Harrison; two children, Randy Harrison (Sherry), Tamara Castles (Glen); four grandchildren, Jessica Heath (Michael), Amber Castles (Brandon Firaben), Andrew Castles (Jessie), Paul Harrison (Ellen) ; six great grandchildren, Jackson Heath (10), Sawyer Firaben (9), Ethan Heath (8), Bodhi Firaben (6), Kara Castles (3) and Sydney Castles (22 months); sister, Patricia Mayfield (John) and other extended family members. Funeral services will be held on Monday, January 12, 2026 at 11 am in the Wilson Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 10-11 am prior to the service. Interment will follow in the Evergreen Memorial Gardens.
