Elvie Gordon Cox, 92, of Arcadia, Fl passed away on Wednesday, August 25, 2021. She was born on September 21, 1928 in Montgomery,  Alabama to Harold and Willie Gordon. She worked at Western Union for 39 years. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ken Cox and brother, Sam Gordon. She is survived by her sister, Efelda Ellis, niece Kathy (Keith) Dyal, nephew Marvin Bleakley. Great nieces Sarah (Mickey) Bryan, Sally (Chad) Knight, Cindy Dyal and Cassie (Joshua) McHale. Sister-in-law Martha Gordon niece Beth Gordon and nephew Brian Gordon.  She also has nine great nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be held on Sunday, August 29, 2021 at 9:00 at Greenwood Cemetery.
