ELOUISE DAVIS WINSLETT

Elouise Davis Winslett, 87, of Panama City, passed away Monday, January 13, 2014. She was born on March 14, 1926 in Noma, Florida and had been a resident of Panama City since 1958. She was a retired purchasing agent for Naval Coastal Systems Station. She was a member of Northside Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Arnold Junior Winslett; daughter, Gloria Jean Winslett; and two sisters, Valerie Tate and Betty Joyce Lage. She is survived by her two sons, Thomas Winslett and wife Toni of Loganville, GA, David Winslett of Panama City; two grandchildren, Brett Thomas Winslett, Heather Winslett Beverly and husband Mark; one great grandson, Case Beverly; one sister, Joann Rhodes of Panama City; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday in the Wilson Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Jerry Moore and Rev. Luther Stanford officiating. Interment will follow in Evergreen Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday from 10 – 11 a.m. prior to the service. Those desiring may make memorial donations to Northside Baptist Church, 530 Airport Road, Panama City, FL 32405 in memory of Elouise Winslett.
