ELOIS ELLIS VINSON
Elois Ellis Vinson, 85, of Lynn Haven, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, September 11, 2011 in her home. She was born July 7, 1926 in Southport, Florida. She was a member of the Southport Community Holiness Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, James W. Vinson; infant twin boys; parents, Hayes & Mamie Stewart Ellis; step mother, Lily B. Ellis; two sisters, Christine Strickland, Ferris Stone; and five brothers, Leroy Ellis, Buford Ellis, Lamar Ellis, Gerald Ellis and Preston Ellis. She is survived by her four children, Linda Miller (Wilbur), Gayle Ansley, Larry Vinson, Donna Malcom (Mark); two grandchildren, Sunny Cox, Christopher Miller (Toni); four great grandchildren, Matthew Cox, Kristy Cox, Matthew Miller, Mark Miller; two sisters, Barbara Nelson, Catherine Gilliam (Johnny); brother, Kenneth Ellis (Agnes); and three sisters-in-law, Mary Ellis, Judy Ellis and Dorothy Ellis. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Tuesday at the Southport Community Holiness Church. Interment will follow in Southport Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the church on Monday from 6 – 8 p.m.
