ELOIS PETERSON ELLISOR
Elois "Lois" Peterson Ellisor, 69, of Panama City, passed away, May 30, 2010 in a local hospital. She was born November 1, 1940 in Crenshaw County, Alabama. She graduated from Robert E. Lee High School in Montgomery, Alabama in 1959. She retired in 2003 from Gulf Coast Community College after 32 years. She was a member of Lynn Haven United Methodist Church and the Lively Stones Sunday School Class. She was also a member of the Tuesday Lunch Bunch and her special bunco group. She was preceded in death by her husband, William "Bill" Hobbs Ellisor. She is survived by daughters, Stacey Ellisor Grimes and husband Churchill, Amy Ellisor Davis and husband Sean, grandson, Kyle Mitchell, granddaughter, Shelby Davis, mother, Opal Peterson, sister, Carolyn Jones and husband, Don, special nieces, Terri Head and husband Tommy, Pam Gardner and husband Ronald, special nephew, Adam Ellisor and wife Kim, and other extended family members. Funeral services will be held Thursday at 10 a.m. at Lynn Haven United Methodist Church with Dr. Doug Pennington officiating. Interment will follow in Greenwood Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Wednesday from 6 to 8 p.m. Those desiring to may make a contribution to the Lynn Haven United Methodist Church Building Fund in memory of Lois Ellisor.
