Ellen "Bonnie" Yvonne Duke Forbes

On Wednesday, October 21, 2020, Ellen "Bonnie" Yvonne Duke Forbes, preceded in death by her loving husband of 62 years, Wesley David Forbes, and loving mother of three children, passed away at the age of 84.

Bonnie was born on October 29, 1935 in Fulton, AL to the late Erma Dee and Mildred (Fendley) Duke. She has two brothers, William (Brenda) Clary and Larry J. Duke (deceased) of Mobile, AL. She raised three children, Clifton James Forbes, Jr. (deceased), Cindy (Rob) Coffey, and Lynn Forbes. Bonnie was blessed with four grandchildren; Cynthia Brandy (Richard) Lowery, Steven Brent (Tara) Barnett, J. Michael Garner, and Mary-Ellen Garner. She has four great-grandchildren; Allie (9), Rhett (5), Brenley (5), and Ryder (4).

Bonnie was an exceptional seamstress. She loved round and square dancing. Her favorite past time was traveling to Tuscaloosa to watch Alabama Crimson Tide football- RTR!!

Her family was blessed to call her Mama, MeMau, MawMaw, and MiMi as she surrounded them with her love!

A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, October 27, 2020 at 10 am in the Evergreen Memorial Gardens with Rev. Clyde Ellison officiating.
