Elizabeth Maurice Beaty Spires,93, of Panama City, Fl, passed away Saturday, November 6, 2021 in Monroe, GA. Born on October 19, 1928, in Louisville, AL. She was a faithful member of First Baptist Church of Panama City, Panama City Jaycettes, and a Charter member of St. Andrews Bay Center. She was the Owner of Spires Daycare, and Volunteered at Baptist Christian Services Center. Chauffeur for her lady friends on Friday Dinner Nights. She loved playing cards, Mexican Train, and Rummikub. Loved having out of town family and friends to stay with her. She was an excellent cook!!!! While at Community Health and Rehab in Panama City, she was known as one of the Greeters at the front door. After Hurricane Michael, she went to Park Place Nursing and Rehab in Monroe, GA where she was known as Lipstick Lady or Pretty Lady. She loved her make-up, hair, and lipstick all the way to 93. She was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, Leon Braxton Spires, two sons Charles Michael Spires and Leon Beaty Spires, Parents, Lang and Ruth Beaty, two Sisters, Bernice Green and Carolyn Campbell. She is survived by one son, Paul Spires (Judy) one daughter, Diane Luckenbach (Don) one Granddaughter, Olivia Luedecke (Jeff), one Grandson Hayden Luckenbach (Anna) one Great Granddaughter, Hailey Elizabeth Luedecke, and sister in law, Sarah Spires. Lots of nieces and nephews which she loved dearly. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, November 13th, 2021, at 2:00 PM at Wilson Funeral Home Chapel with visitation at 1:00 PM. with Anthony Hovey officiating. Graveside Service will be held in the Greenwood Cemetery with David Hecht officiating.
