Elizabeth Ann Pledger Steele, 84, of Panama City Beach, FL passed away on Tuesday June 13, 2017. She was born on October 17, 1932 in Panama City, FL to Thomas and Lillie Belle Pledger. She was a graduate of Bay High School Class of 1950.  She was a member of First Baptist Church of Panama City and the LLL Sunday School Class.  She was preceded in death by a daughter, Rebecca Steele Martin; two brothers, James Pledger, Woodson Pledger; three sisters, Laura Belle Vassie, Ruth Helms, Woodie Lunsford; and son-in-law Jonah Edward Cleveland.  She is survived by her husband of 65 years, Cleveland M. Steele; daughter, Terrie Cleveland; grandson, Jonah Edward Cleveland Jr. and wife, Valerie; great grandson, Silas Edward Cleveland; son-in-law, Michael Martin and numerous nieces and nephews.  Funeral services will be held on Saturday at 2 p.m. in the Wilson Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Bill Sears officiating.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday from 1-2 p.m. prior to the service. Interment will follow in the Oakland Cemetery.  Honorary pallbearers will be members of the LLL Sunday School Class and the Bay High School Class of 1950.
