Born Elizabeth Jane Strudel, on Oct. 28, 1936, in Athens, GA; Betty S. Grammer passed from this life to the next on Sept. 22, 2022, in Panama City. She was predeceased by her parents, C. William and Evelyn O. Strudel, and her husband of 47 years, Joe Grammer, Jr.

Betty is survived by her sister, Dot Newman, brothers Bill Strudel (Terry) and Rusty Strudel (Renee), son, Joe Grammer (Jenny), daughters Ellen Tait (Brad), and Evelyn Barr (Mike), grandchildren, Katy Russell (Tyler), McKenzie Hall (Josh), Tyler Barr (Meredith), Emily Grammer, Mary Beth Barr, great-grandchildren Micah Barr and Elijah Barr, and beloved nephews and nieces.

Joe and Betty moved their family to Panama City, in 1970. Betty worked in the local legal community for over 40 years.

After a private memorial, the family will greet friends on Saturday, Oct. 22, between three and five p.m., at The Ark, Tribe Church, 2413 Harris Avenue, Panama City.
