Elijah Michael Johnson, 2, was called home on June 23, 2014. He was born on July 14, 2011 in Macon, Georgia. He was a miracle that fought hard to come into this world. He blessed so many with his smile and his infectious personality. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Dave "Popa" Hodurski and Lois "Gammo" Johnson. He is survived by his parents, Jeremy & Julie Hodurski Johnson; brother and sister, Noah and Hannah Johnson; grandparents, John Johnson, Donna Hodurski, Debbie Hodurski; and many aunts, uncles and cousins. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, June 28 at the Palo Alto Church of Christ. Interment will follow in Evergreen Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the church from 12 noon – 1 p.m. prior to the service. Following the graveside service, the invites everyone to help celebrate Eli's birthday a few days early in the fellowship hall at Palo Alto Church of Christ. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Coffee County Childhood Cancer Advocacy Group, 316 N Madison Avenue, Douglas, GA 31533 or to the BOK Tower Gardens Share the Gift, 1511 Tower Blvd, Lake Wales, FL 33853 in memory of Elijah Johnson.
