ELIJAH HUSTON "DICK" CROCKER
Elijah Huston "Dick" Crocker, age 85, passed away Monday, July 8, 2013 at Covenant Hospice at Bay Medical Sacred Heart Hospital. Elijah was born August 9, 1927 in Nash County, North Carolina to Emma and Walter Crocker. He was a Navy veteran of WWII. He was preceded in death by his parents and five siblings and one daughter, Brenda C. Mulcahy.
He was survived by his wife, Janice A. Crocker and his daughter, Sheila Laberdesque with whom he made his home in Panama City, Florida for the past five years. He was also survived by five grandchildren, Jared Matthew Laberdesque, Amanda Grace Laberdesque, Laurie Pate Henry and husband Robert Henry, Christopher Laberdesque, and Tanner Hall. He also left behind one great-grandson, Roan Hawke Henry.
Visitation will be held at Wilson's Funeral Home on Thursday from 5 to 7 p.m. The family wishes to thank Bay Medical Center staff and Covenant Hospice for their loving care; also, Dr. Ashok Wadhera for his excellent care and concern.
