ELEANOR MAY ROGERS
Eleanor May Rogers, 85, of Lynn Haven, passed away Sunday, September 13, 2009. She was born January 23, 1924 in Roanoke, Virginia. She had been a resident of Bay County since 1996 moving from Gloucester, Virginia. She was a member of Lynn Haven United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas J. Rogers, daughter, Patricia Speakman and sister, Hortense Anders. She is survived by her son, Danny Rogers and wife, Anita and four grandchildren, Jeff Speakman, Elspeth Barriault, Jason Speakman and Jacob Speakman. A memorial service will be held on Friday at 11 a.m. in the Lynn Haven United Methodist Church. Interment will be held at a later date in Roanoke, Virginia. Those desiring may make memorial donations to the American Heart Association, P.O. Drawer 390, Panama City, FL 32402 in memory of Eleanor Rogers.
