Eleanor Moon Grammer, 92, of Panama City, FL passed away on Wednesday, August 14, 2019. She was born on May 29, 1927 in Tuscaloosa, AL to Henry and Eva Moon. Eleanor was very active in her community. She served on the board of the Bay County Council on Aging for many years. She also served on the state board for the Area Agency on Aging in Tallahassee. She worked many years at Bay Radiology and retired at the age of seventy, yet continued to keep in touch with her co-workers through the bi-weekly Lunch Bunch. She was an active member of Parkway Presbyterian Church and served as an Elder. Even though she faced much adversity in her life she was filled with faith and always maintained a positive attitude. She loved spending time with her family every chance she had. She was a strong woman, full of life and was an inspiration to her family and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Perry L. Grammer; her parents; two sons, Joseph Grammer, William Grammer; one great granddaughter, Tiffany Cajote. She is survived by one daughter, Lee G. Costello (Jay); granddaughter, Karen Cajote (Chris); great granddaughter, Madeline Cajote; great grandson, Matthew Cajote; three great-great grandchildren, Zoey Cajote, Gracyn Cajote and Wyatt Stapleton. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, August 17, 2019 at 11 am in the Parkway Presbyterian Church with Rev. Dr. Richard M. Connor officiating. Interment will follow at Evergreen Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends on Saturday from 10-11 am prior to the service. Pallbearers will be Matthew Cajote, John Daly, Cliff Fleming III, Wayne Hardy, Charles Moody and Ray Waters. In lieu of flowers the family request that memorial donations be made to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation or to Parkway Presbyterian church.
