ELDON C. HADDOCK

Eldon C. Haddock, 85, of Panama City, passed away Thursday, September 6, 2012. He was born July 19, 1927 in Live Oak, Florida. He retired from the U.S. Air Force at the rank of Master Sergeant after 27 years of service. After his retirement from the Air Force, he opened Haddock's Garden Center. Mr. Haddock was preceded in death by his daughter, Debra Ann Haddock Knight; sister, Virginia Berg and brother, Vernon Haddock. He is survived by his wife, Agnes Haddock; three children, Jimmy Haddock, Donna Halstead, Vernon Haddock; daughter-in-law, Aleta Haddock; son-in-law, William Halstead; eight grandchildren, Dawn Haddock, Eva Haddock, Christopher Halstead, Ashley Phillips, Douglas Knight, Crystal Ray Knight, Kristian Haddock, Kenneth Haddock; nineteen great grandchildren; and one sister, Teresa Kline and husband Jerry. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday at the First Baptist Church of Lynn Haven with Rev. Tom Daniel officiating. Interment will follow in the Fountain Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday from 2 – 4 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the First Baptist Church of Lynn Haven, 1005 Ohio Avenue, Lynn Haven, FL 32444 in memory of Eldon Haddock. Active pallbearers will be Dylan Beebe, Austin Haddock, Christopher Halstead, Stephen Phillips, Kristian Haddock, Douglas Knight and Cliff Prather.
