Edward William "Sonny" Breland, 84, of Panama City, went to be with the Lord on Friday, December 17, 2021 in his home.  He was born August 4, 1937 in Louisville, Mississippi.  He was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather.  Sonny served his country in the United States Air Force for four years and was an insurance salesman for over 40 years.  He is known for being a faithful servant to many throughout his life, but especially to God, his wife, and his family. He was a member of the St. Andrew Assembly of God Church. He was preceded in death by his father, Rev. Samuel Lee Breland, mother, Mary Audrey Breland; two sisters, Marie Broadhead, Pauline Hale and a brother, Jimmy Breland.  He is survived by his wife JoDell Breland; two sons, Edward William "Bill" Breland Jr. (Stephanie), Steven Breland; five grandchildren, Sarah Breland, Abbigayle Breland, Peyton Breland, Garrett Breland, Macy Breland and numerous nieces and nephews.  A celebration of life service will be held at a later date.
