Edward Pridgeon, 76, lifetime resident of Gulf County, Florida, passed away July 18, 2012. He was born in Panama City, Florida in 1936 and lived in Port St. Joe, most of his life. He graduated from Port St. Joe High School in 1955. He worked with the Department of Natural Resource for many years and retired from there in 1986. He loved his many friends and family, leaving behind one son, David S. Pridgeon; two grandchildren, Sean A. Pridgeon, Shannon N. Pridgeon; daughter-in-law, Martha S. Pridgeon; one brother, Anthony L. Pridgeon; and two of his longtime childhood friends, Harry Lee Smith and Norma Hobbs. Mr. Pridgeon will be cremated. A fish fry in his memory will be held Saturday, July 28th at his home in Beacon Hill from 2 to 6 pm EDT. All friends and family are welcome to come.
