Edward Defield Gibson Jr. MD, 84, of Panama City Beach, FL passed away on Friday, September 20, 2019. He was born on February 28, 1935 in Louisville, KY to Edward and Imogene Gibson. He worked as a Medical Director and Psychiatrist for Life Management Incorporated for around 20 years. He was a competitive and good tennis player. Edward was a kind, intelligent, caring, charismatic, Christian, gentleman, who was loved by many. He will be greatly missed by his family, friends and his hundreds of patients that he helped throughout the years. He is survived by his wife, Nancy Gibson; three sons, Edward Defield Gibson III, Warren Gibson, Theron Gibson and nine grandchildren. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 28, 2019 at 2pm in the Wilson Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 1-2 pm on Saturday prior to the service.
