EDNA ALICE WILLIAMS
Edna Alice Williams, 87, of Fort Lauderdale, Florida passed away Friday, January 14, 2011 in Panama City. She was born August 11, 1923 in Fall River, Massachusetts. She attended Notre Dame Parochial School through the 8th Grade and graduated from BMC Durfee High School Class of 1942 in Fall River. She was past commander of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Submarine Veterans of World War II. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Sheila Williams Bloomberg and sister, Jacqueline Devlin. She is survived by her husband, Bill Williams; son, Steven T. Williams, of Fort Lauderdale; granddaughter, Sherryl Siegel and husband Scott, of McDonough, GA; grandson, Tommy Bloomberg and wife Jennifer, of Bonaire, GA; two great granddaughters, Lesley Siegel, Sydney Siegel; and brother, Richard Donald Felteau and wife Teresa, of Leesburg, FL. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday in the Wilson Funeral Home Chapel. Entombment will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday from 6 – 7 p.m. with a rosary service to be held at 7 p.m. Those desiring may make memorial donations to Covenant Hospice, 107 W 19th Street, Panama City, FL 32405 in memory of Edna Williams.
