EDNA INEZ "JACK" LIGHTFOOT

Edna Inez "Jack" Lightfoot, 90, of Panama City, Florida passed away January 3, 2011. She was born March 14, 1920 in Santa Rosa County, Florida to John T. and Linnie D. McKinley Jones. She was a graduate of Milton High School. She was a retired Licensed Practical Nurse for several hospitals. She had been a resident of Panama City for 14 years, moving here from Chipley, Florida. She was a member of St. Andrew Baptist Church, where she was a member of the Dorcas Sunday School Class. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Paul Curtis Whitfield and Albert E. Lightfoot, brothers, Willard Jones and John B. Jones, sisters, Etta Mae Dukes and Ida Wright. She is survived by her daughter, Wanda Whitfield Jones and husband Graham of Panama City, 2 grandchildren, Mark C. Jones of Pensacola, Florida, Deana Miller and husband Erik, two great grandchildren, Ryan Miller and Riley Miller, all of Gainesville, Virginia, step-daughter, Nancy Cox and husband Dr. Ross Cox of Cumming, Georgia, and numerous nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday from 5 to 7 p.m. A graveside service will be held on Friday in Milton, Florida. The family would like to thank Community Health and Rehabilitation and Covenant Hospice for their loving care of Mrs. Lightfoot.
