Edna Sugg Burton, 87, of Panama City, passed away December 16, 2009 in a local hospital. She was born March 27, 1922 in Pitt County, North Carolina to Leonard and Stella Stocks Sugg. She was a beloved wife and mother. She was preceded in death by her husband, John Lloyd Burton, brother, Laurie Edward Sugg, sister, Hilda S. Mills, nephew, Kenneth G. Mills and son-in-law, Graydon S. Brewington. She is survived by her daughter, Sharon Brewington of Panama City, niece, Debra M. Brock, nephew, Marion Edward Mills and wife Debra Gail, all of Greenville, North Carolina, several great nieces and nephews and 1 great great nephew. Funeral services will be held Friday at 10 a.m. in the Wilson Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Clyde Ellison officiating. Interment will be held at a later date in Onslow Memorial Park in Jacksonville, North Carolina.
