Edgar "Allen" Pilcher, 84, of Springfield, Florida passed away on February 03, 2018 at home with family by his side.

He was born on May 21, 1933 in Altha, Florida to the late John David and Allie Mae Pilcher. Allen was a graduate of Altha High School, Chipola College, and Troy University with a degree in business. He was the proud owner of Pilcher Bait and Tackle for over 50 years. Allen was a wonderful son, brother, and uncle and will be greatly missed.

Allen is survived by nephews Mark Hoxie (wife Sandy), Mike Pilcher (wife Barbara), Edwin Pilcher (wife Karen), Scott Hoxie (wife Bonnie); niece Julie Hoxie; and many great-nieces and great-nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Clarence Pilcher; and sister, Doris Hoxie.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday February 6, 2018 from 6 PM to 8 PM at Wilson Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held graveside at Greenwood Cemetery on Wednesday February 7, 2018 at 2 PM.
The family will be receiving guests at the home of Mark and Sandy Hoxie after the ceremony.
