Eddie Lee Rushing, 78, went to be with his Lord and Savior in Panama City, Florida on May 29, 2025.

He was born in Defuniak Springs, Florida, on October 8, 1946.

He loved fishing and all other outdoor activities. His greatest passion was his family and helping his friends with projects. He called himself a jack of all trades, master of none, but all the folks he helped would beg to differ.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Tupie and Katie Rushing; and his brother, Kenny Rushing.

Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife, Judy Rushing; children, Lora Leigh Rushing, Jennifer Strickland and husband, Dallas, and Brian Biletnikoff and wife, Angela; numerous grandchildren and a great granddaughter. Brother, Chet Rushing and wife, Vicki; sisters, Anita Mitchell, and Margie Williams, and many nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life will take place at Wilson Funeral Home on Wednesday, June 4, 2025 at 2 pm. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 1-2 pm prior to the service. A graveside service will take place in the Red Bay Cemetery on Thursday, June 5, 2025 at 11 am.
