DOUGLAS R. HOUGH
1928-2011
Doug Hough of Lynn Haven passed away Sunday, March 27, 2011 at his residence.
Mr. Hough is survived by his beloved wife, Sarah, his daughters, Deborah Burchell and Judith Aussem of Toronto, Ontario and Elizabeth Denning of Raleigh, NC, and his son, John Denning of Walnut Creek, California; three grandchildren, Chelsey Jeffrey, Josh Burchell and Emma Degeneffe and one great-granddaughter, Ava Jeffrey.
Doug was former director of the Museum of Man in the Sea, Panama City Beach, and former host of Big Band Saturday Night on WKGC-FM. He was a founding member of the Gulf Jazz Society and active in Bay British Cars.
The family would like to invite friends Thursday, March 31 at 3100 Country Club Drive, Lynn Haven from 4 to 6 p.m. for a toast to wish Doug well on his last journey.
The family would like to say a special "thank you" to Dr. Marion Mathews and his staff and Covenant Hospice for their special care and support. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts to Covenant Hospice, 107 W. 19th St., Panama City, FL 32405 would be appreciated.
