DOROTHY JEAN WILSON
Dorothy Jean Wilson, 79, of Panama City, died Sunday, June 29, 2008 in her home. She was born August 28, 1928 in Panama City to C.J. and Emma Jackson. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Parker. She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, Kenneth Jackson, of Minneapolis, Minnesota, Jack Jackson, of Mobile, Alabama and grandson, Scott Reid, of Panama City. She is survived by her husband, Freddie H. Wilson, two sons, George Wilson, Jr. and wife Pat, of Bayou George, Donnie Wilson and wife Karen, of Panama City, daughter, Natalie Reid and husband Darrell, six grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, one great great granddaughter, two sisters, Nell McCurdy, Clara Lee Taylor, both of Panama City, and special friends, Jackie Rivers and Richie Barnes. Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Wednesday in the Wilson Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. James Barker and Rev. Craig Walker officiating. Interment will follow in Evergreen Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday from 6 – 8 p.m. The family has requested that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to Covenant Hospice, 107 W 19th Street, Panama City, FL 32405, First Baptist Church of Parker, 4630 E Business Hwy 98, Parker, FL 32404 or to Holy Hill Baptist Church in memory of Dorothy Wilson. The family would like to send a special thank you to Dr. Dent and his staff for all of their excellent care.
