DOROTHY COTTON STEWART
Dorothy Cotton Stewart, 75, of Panama City, passed away on Good Friday, April 6, 2012 in her home with her loving family around her. She was born September 27, 1936 in Panama City and had been a lifelong resident of the area. She was a graduate of Bay High School. Mrs. Stewart was a Librarian Assistant at the Bay County Library. She is survived by her husband, William "Alex" Stewart; two children, Suzanne McDowell (Paul), William A. "Buddy" Stewart; two grandchildren, Janna Layne Smith, Charlie McConnell (Jennifer); and two great grandchildren, Taeden Bynum and Charlie McConnell, Jr. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Thursday in the Wilson Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in Evergreen Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday from 1 to 2 p.m. prior to the service. Those desiring may make memorial donations to Emerald Coast Hospice, 2925 Martin Luther King Blvd, Panama City, FL 32405 in memory of Dorothy Stewart.
