Dorothy Miller Rea, affectionately known as "Mama Rea", 78, of Panama City, died July 16, 2006 in her home. She was retired from the Department of Transportation as a Maintenance Management Systems Engineer Technician. She was a member of the Calvary Missionary Baptist Church and the Order of the Eastern Star. She was preceded in death by her husband, Percy L. Rea and her parents, Henry L. and Willie Lee Miller. She is survived by her son, James Rea and wife Patricia of Birmingham, Alabama, daughter, Donna Rea VanDusen of Macon, Georgia, grandson, Tyler Rea VanDusen of Macon, and special friend and "adopted" son, James Michael Hewitt of Rochester, New York. Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m. in the Wilson Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jim Hankins officiating. Interment will be held Wednesday at 1 p.m. in the Wausau Memorial Gardens in Wausau, Florida. Honorary pallbearers will be James Calvin Hagan, Willis Malcolm Hagan, Roger Dale Hagan, Bernice Allen Hagan, Ronnie Gene Hagan, T.J. Owens, W.T. Miller and DOT MMS employees.
