DOROTHY MAE NELSON
Dorothy Mae Nelson, 86, of Panama City, went to be with the Lord on Monday, March 2, 2009. She was born July 8, 1922 in Chipley, Florida. She was a member of the Springfield Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Milton Nelson and two sisters, Oceal Creamer and Thedral Fowler. She is survived by her three sons, Randy Nelson and wife Mary; Ronnie Nelson and wife Marie; Kenny Nelson and wife Judy; seven grandchildren, Kenya, Keith, Shea, Jeremy, Jacob, Kyle, Evan, six great grandchildren, two sisters, Myrtle Cook and husband Rufus, Bette Ausland, brother-in-law, John Nelson and two sisters-in-law, Betty Nelson and Montez Vincent and husband Howard. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Thursday in the Wilson Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jerry Everage officiating. Interment will follow in the Evergreen Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday from 6 – 8 p.m. Those desiring may make memorial donations to your favorite charity in memory of Dorothy Nelson. The family would like to send a special thanks to the nursing staff at 3 Central at Bay Medical Center for their excellent care.
