Dorothy D. Millaway (Dot) passed away Wednesday, Nov. 26, 2014, with her family by her side. She was born on Aug. 13, 1928, in Florence, Ala.
Dot was preceded in death by her husband, Henry F. Millaway; her mother, Annie Ruth Dowling, and father, Mack D. Dowling. She is survived by her daughter, Judy Lynn Maulbeck and husband, Ray; son, Steve D. Millaway and wife, Jeannie; and granddaughter, Christina A. Leap and husband, Rick, all of Panama City, Fla.
Dot was a Methodist by faith and her happiest times were being with her family, visiting with her friends and wonderful neighbors, fishing, gardening and caring for birds and wildlife. Dot and Henry first moved to Panama City in 1952 when Henry was stationed at Tyndall AFB. They both loved the beaches and the community and decided to make Panama City their home.
The family would like to thank the staff of Covenant Hospice and especially Marcus and LaTonya for their faithful and compassionate care. The family would also like to thank Dr. Harrell and her staff for the many years of loving care.
