Dorothy Lewis passed away on January 17th 2019 at the age of 101. She was born on February 5th 1917 in Alabama. She was a homemaker, and resided at Lisenby Assisted Living at the time of death. She was preceded in death by her late husband of 52 years, David young Lewis, and her 2 children, James and Perry Lewis, as well as a daughter in law, Joyce Lewis. She is survived by 5 grandchildren; Kevin Lewis, Kirk Lewis, Paul Lewis, Connie Currie, and Mark Lewis. A daughter in law, Martha Lewis. She has 2 special nieces, Sandy and Debbie Dykes. She has 7 great grandchildren, Amanda (Gary), Jennifer (Jamie), Crystal, Shawn, Jamie (Steve), Bobby (Angelina), Angel, and the late CP and Lee. She had 9 great great grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Austin A., Jason, Cierra, Brian, Austin C., Landon, CJ, and Gracie. She had the most generous heart and 5 generations of love. Graveside services will be held on Saturday January 26, 2019 at 11 am at Evergreen Memorial Gardens with Rev. John Wave officiating.
