Dorothy Green Farley, 93, of Panama City, FL passed away on Wednesday November 16, 2016. She was born on November 17, 1927 in Mullens, West Virginia to Everett and Mazy Green. She had been a resident of Panama City for 15 years moving here from Mullens. She was a member of the Highland Avenue Baptist Church in Mullens for 80 years and a member of the First Baptist Church of Panama City for 14 years. She is preceded in death by her husband, Samuel Green Farley; son, Dr. Phillip Farley; two brothers and three sisters. She is survived by her daughter, Carolyn Bunting (Boyd); grandchildren, Mark Vowell, Susan Dupont (Mark), John Farley (Juliette), Keith Farley; great grandchildren, Abbie Dupont, Sammie Dupont, David Dupont; brother, Charles Green, Bill Green (Delores); brother-in-law, Bill Lester and numerous nieces and nephews.  Graveside services will be held on Monday at 2 p.m. in the Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens, Beckley, W.V.  In lieu of flowers, the family request that memorial donations be made to the Building Fund at First Baptist Church of Panama City or to the Highland Avenue Baptist Church in memory of Dorothy Farley.
