Doris Calhoun Padgett, died on Tuesday December 12, 2023, in her home surrounded by her family after an extended illness. She is predeceased by her husband, Norman V. Padgett, her parents, William Henry and Carrie Calhoun, her brother, Billie George Calhoun, and her daughter, Ginger Hamm Cunningham. Her surviving family includes, daughter, Sue H. Creel, grandchildren, Matt Taylor (Mel), Craig Taylor (Amy), and Hamilton Willis, her siblings, D. Paul Calhoun (Sylvia), Barbara Strauss and Peggy Walker (Frank), son-in-law, Jack Cunningham, and her great-grandchildren, Tiffany, Nick, Brent, Shay, Reese, and Jax. The family would like to express their appreciation to Covenant Care for the excellent care they provided.
