Doris Hagan left to be with the Lord on October 19, 2019. She was born in Galliano, Louisiana to Piere and Salima Galliano in 1928, living there until 1947 when she married Panama City resident, Colon Hagan. She was the 11th of 12 siblings to pass away, survived by her sister, Henrietta Oster. She served as secretary at Hiland Park Baptist Church 28 years and faithfully attended until health problems intervened. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Colon and grandsons, Curtis Long and John Roman. She is survived by her son, Donald Hagan (Ramona); daughter, Deborah Long(Tim),; grandsons, Tim Long II, Mike Roman (Lulu), Tim Roman (Amy), and Ted Roman (Stacey); granddaughter, Heather Ward (Danny) and many great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, October 23, 2019 at 11 am in the Wilson Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Tim Long and Pastor Tim Roman officiating. Interment will follow in the Evergreen Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday from 10:30-11 am prior to the service. Doris requested, in lieu of flowers, donations be made to a Veterans organization in honor of Colon's proud service to his country.
