Doris S. Featherstone, passed away in her home in Panama City, FL on September 25, 2022 after suffering from a long illness.  She was born in Lewiston, Maine on December 8, 1942.  She was preceded in death by her parents, Josephat & Estelle Sevigny and her long time love of her life, Jack Featherstone and a brother, Donald Sevigny.

She graduated from Gorham State College Maine in 1964 and taught school for two years before moving to Panama City in 1967.  Mrs. Featherstone taught school in Bay County for 30 years before her retirement in 1997.  Upon her husbands death in 2000 she became the President of Jack Featherstone Agency until 2004, when she sold the business.

She was a member of the Bay County Retired Educators, a former member of the N.E.A., the Bay County Chamber of Commerce, the B.B.B. and was an honorary member of Alpha Delta Kappa as well as a contributor to the Bay Medical Foundation and many other charities.

She leaves behind a brother, Paul Sevigny and Donald's wife/sister-in-law, Carol Sevigny and sister-in-law, Wilba Featherstone.  She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

She will be cremated and is to be laid to rest by her husband in John Lay Cemetery in Etheridge, Tennessee.
