Donnie Lou Savelle, 80, of Lynn Haven, FL passed away peacefully on Wednesday, August 16, 2023.

She was a wife, mother and a MeMaw.  She worked as a School Crossing Guard at Northside Elementary and Helped Create the program at Lynn Haven Elementary and Supervised the program for years.  She was a Paraprofessional at Lucille Moore Elementary School.  She as an avid seamstress, reader and loved spending time watching the birds in her backyard.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Guy Spiva and Eloise Spiva, Sister, Patricia Spiva Bell and Niece, Karin Bell Gasperin.

She is survived by her husband of 62 years, William C. Savelle Sr.; three children, William Savelle Jr. (Keidrie), Ja'Nay Tampellini (Alan) Catrina Savelle (Michael); grandchildren, Brittany Tampellini and Justin Tampellini (April) and 4 Great Grandchildren (Vivianne, Brantley, Ryland and Riverleigh (Due Nov 2023).  A brother Michael Spiva (Lynn).  Nephews Joseph Bell (Shelley), Guy Spiva (Allie), Anthony Spiva (Tiffany), and Daniel Spiva (Amber); nieces Melanie Bell, Pamela Bell; great-nephews Gabe, Conner, Collin, Corbin, A.J., and Luke; great-nieces Jessica, Carley, Savannah, Adrienne, McKenzie, Carly, Lucy, and Linley Jane (Due Dec 2023. And Nieces, Mia Burbach (Ron), Natalie Downen (Tim) and Ashleigh Alderman and their children.

We are thankful we were able to celebrate the Spiva side of the family just two weeks ago at a Reunion.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday August 26, 2023 at 4 pm in the Wilson Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday from 3-4 pm prior to the service.
