DONALD BRUCE EVERETT, SR.

Donald Bruce Everett, Sr., 72, of Lynn Haven, died Wednesday, January 9, 2008 at Gulf Coast Hospital. He was born on September 1, 1935 in Jamaica Plains, Massachusetts. He was a retired Pharmacologist for Pfizer Pharmaceuticals. He served in the U.S. Army Air Corp as a Ranger and in the U.S. Air Force in Aerospace Medicine during the Berlin Crisis. He was preceded in death by his parents, Herman and Gertrude Everett, sister, Mary Lynn Benjamin, grandson, Samuel Kassenoff and granddaughter, Delaney Sloane Everett. He is survived by his wife, Betty Everett, two children, Deanna Lynn Kassenoff and husband David, of Jacksonville, Donald Everett, Jr. and wife Diane, of Irving, TX, two step-sons, Gregory R. Whitman and wife Victoria, of Panama City, Jeffrey B. Whitman and wife Rachael, of Keystone Heights, FL, seven grandchildren, Joe Everett, Daniella Everett, Marshall Thompson, Brianna Whitman, Kayla Whitman, Summer Whitman, Matthew Brian Whitman, brother, Dana D. Everett and wife Roni, of Bremen, ME, brother-in-law, Kenneth W. Marlowe and wife Belinda, of Panama City and several nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held on Monday at 10 a.m. in the Wilson Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Floyd Wright officiating. The family would like to thank Debra, Wendy, Christie, Paula, Shauna, Janie, Candy and Dr. Floyd Wright of Covenant Hospice and Regina, Pam, Elida, Rosann, Carolyn and George of Gulf Coast Hospital for their excellent care.
