Donald E. Culver, Jr., 73, of Panama City, passed away on Tuesday, April 1, 2014.  He was born on April 1, 1941 and grew up in Virginia Beach, Virginia.  He retired after 24 years of service from the U. S. Air Force at the rank of Tech Sergeant.  In his spare time, he enjoyed gardening, fishing, NASCAR and spending time with his family.  He is survived by his wife, Elzebir Culver; two sons, Donald E. "Donnie" Culver, III (Kimberley), Doug Culver; step daughter, Darlene Dean; step son, Raul Cedeno (Sarah); ten grandchildren, Zachary Louis Culver, Lexi Eakin, James Culver, Lynn Culver, Selena Barragan, Donna Tejeda, Sylvia Cedeno, Felecia Cedeno, Raul Cedeno, Jr, Isabella Cedeno; one sister, Leona Umphlett; and his best friend, Sharolyn Haney.  Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, April 13 in the Wilson Funeral Home Chapel.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday from 1 – 2 p.m. prior to the service.  Interment will be held at Arlington National Cemetery at a later date.
